700 kilometar ka registani safar Safar aaj ke daur mein bhi karna mushkil hai.
Cycle par nahin jaa sakte. Paidal to soch bhi nahin sakte. Oont ke baghair kaise ho sakta hai — oont is liye bhi zaroori hai ke uske upar samaan laadna hota hai. Raaste mein pani peena mumkin nahin. Registan mein to kai‑kai kilometar tak kuch bhi nahin hota. Bhookhe pyaase mar jaayenge.
Phir aap kafilay se bhi juda ho jaate ho. To Abu Zar Gaffari koshish karte rahe kisi tareeqe se oont ko chalaane ki. Isi dauraan kafilaa nikal gaya aage — to oont uthaa hi nahin. Toh Hazrat Abu Zar Gaffari ne apna samaan apni peeth par laad liya aur paidal chal diye.
Sahab, Abu Zar Gaffari r.a. ke haalaat bayan karne ke liye bada pathar‑sa dil chahiye. Itni sojjo‑ghudaz wali zindagi thi unki. Jamia Tirmizi mein hadees hai: Nabi ﷺ ne irshaad farmaya ke is neeli chhatri ke neeche Abu Zar Gaffari se saccha insaan koi nahin hai. Kaun keh raha hai? Nabi ﷺ jo khud Sadiq aur Ameen thay. Aur Jamia Tirmizi mein ek aur hadees hai — Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya ke Abu Zar Gaffari se behtar koi ahd‑wafa karne wala aur jihad mein meri ummat mein nahin hai. Yeh meri ummat mein Eesa ibn Maryam ki misal hai.
Abu Zar Gaffari aur Eesa ibn Maryam un logon mein se hain jin ke baare mein riwayaton mein aata hai ke woh duniya se itne zahid thay ke bartan mein paani bhi nahin peete the. Woh kehte the duniya ka maal hai — apne haathon se paani peete the. Duniya ko teen talaaqen de chuke the. Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya meri ummat mein Sayyiduna Eesa ibn Maryam ki misal jihad mein Abu Zar Gaffari hai.
Yeh lafz Abu Zar hai. Abu Zar Gaffari — Gaffari nahin, lafz Gaffari zair hai aur “fa” ke upar tashdeed bhi nahin hai. To Abu Zar Gaffari r.a. Nabi ﷺ ke laadle ashaab mein se thay. Sahih Bukhari mein unke Islam qabool karne ka pura waqia maujood hai.
Jab dawat pohanchi ke ek paighambar aaye hain Makke ki zameen mein jinhon ne dawa nabuwat kiya hai, to unhon ne pehle apne bhai ko bheja ke khabar le aa. Unhone bataya, “haan is tarah ek shakhs hai.” Phir woh khud safar band kar ke Nabi ﷺ ki khidmat mein hazir hue Makka shareef mein.
Sahih Bukhari mein aata hai ke woh gaye Makka shareef mein. Ab dar bhi tha kyunke unko pata tha ke Nabi ﷺ ki mukhalfat bhi bohot zyada hai — agar main kisi se Nabi ﷺ ke baare mein poochun toh ho sakta hai meri saath koi buraat ho. To unhon ne Haram‑e‑Makkah mein dera daal diya aur kehte the: “Jitne din wahan rahunga, to Aab‑e‑Zamzam hi peeta. Jab meri khajoor khatam ho gayi, Zamzam hi khaana aur peena dono ka kaam karta tha.” Zamzam taaqat wala paani tha.
Sabse pehli mulakaat jis shakhs se hui woh Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib r.a. thay. Hazrat Ali ne jab unko observe kiya to apne ghar le gaye: pardesi the, khana‑shana khilaya, raat thehraaya. Unhon ne poocha tum kis liye aaye ho? Abu Zar ne bataya main aapko akhlaqiyat bata raha hoon ke dawat ka kaam kitna thandak se karna padta hai — aap kehte ho pehle din hi kisi ko ruf shuru karwa do, itna aasan nahin hota.
Doosra din bhi isi tarah guzra, teesra din bhi. Teen din ke baad Abu Zar Gaffari ne khud Hazrat Ali par aitimaad kiya aur unko andaza hua ke yeh bada aadmi hai. Hazrat Ali ne bhi expose nahin kiya ke main Nabi ﷺ ke kareebi logon mein se hoon. Phir kaha mujhe tum achha insaan lage ho, main is kaam ke liye aaya hoon — tum mujhe guide karo Muhammad ibn Abdullah ke baare mein, main unse milna chahta hoon. Sayyiduna Ali ne kaha waqai woh to Allah ke Paighambar hain. Phir woh Hazrat Abu Zar ko Nabi ﷺ ke paas le gaye.
Nabi ﷺ ke paas thodi der baithe aur Islam qabool kar liya. Aur jab unhon ne Islam qabool kiya itna aala darje ka iman tha ke Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya: “Tum apne qabeele mein wapas jao, jab Makke mein hamara ghalba hoga ya koi Allah‑Allah raah nikaalega. Abhi to jo bhi Islam qabool karta hai uski fati lagti hai. Main koi na koi tumhein bata doonga. Abhi tum apna iman posheeda rakho, apne ilaqe mein chale jao.” Unhon ne kaha “Ya Rasool Allah, aisa nahin ho sakta.” Wo janab aa gaye Makka ke andar Kaaba mein, wahan jaake gavaahi di ke “main gawahi deta hoon ke Allah ek hai aur Muhammad ﷺ uske Rasool hain.” Phir mushrikeen ne unpar toot pade, khoob maar‑peet hui.
Hatta ke Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (jo us waqt tak Musalman nahin hue) — Nabi ﷺ ke chacha thay lekin Banu Hashim se the, jo Kaaba ke matwali (khadim) the — unhon ne apne aap ko Abu Zar Gaffari par gira liya taake kisi ko unko marne ka mauqa na mile. Unhon ne kaha tumhein pata nahin qabeela matlab Gaffari qabeele se taluq rakhta hai, to iske qabeele ke log aake yahan ladai karenge humse. Qabeeli nizaam mein pehle qabeela dekha jaata tha, mazhab pe baad mein.
Isi wajah se Banu Hashim ne Islam qabool na karne ke bawajood Nabi ﷺ ki poshish par khade rahe. Yeh pehle bhi hota raha — Qur’an‑e‑Hakim mein bhi aata hai ke Shiblum ki qaum kya kehti thi: “Ae Shibl agar tera qabeela tera saath na hota to tera kaam ho chuka hota.” Isliye Ambiya aam tor par qabeelon mein aate hain, jo shareef nafs walay hote hain.
Phir Abu Zar ne kalma padha, unki pittaai hui. Hazrat Abbas ne unko bachaya aur wahan se woh chale gaye. Yeh poori hadees Sahih Bukhari mein hai aur Bukhari ne Abu Zar Gaffari ke Islam aane ka ek poora chapter banaya. Abu Zar Gaffari darvesh‑sid the, duniya ko teen talaaq de chuke. Woh isliye kyun ke unhon ne Nabi ﷺ ko bohot qareeb se observe kiya tha.
Nabi ﷺ ki jitni hadees duniya se aur duniya‑parasti ki mazammat pe hai na, aksar hadees ke rawi Abu Zar hi thay kyunke unhon ne Nabi ﷺ ko bohot qareeb se observe kiya hua tha. Jab duniya ke khazane khol diye gaye aur baaz ashaab aur baaz taaban mein unhon ne jab duniya ki mohabbat mein galba aur ayyashi ka level dekha to unse bardasht nahin hua. Woh Nabi ﷺ ki sobat mein rehne wale the. Kehte the “dekho yaar hum log to faake karte the” — matlab zindagi ki sadagi — aur hamare Nabi humein itna taleemat dete the ke “Ae Allah, Muhammad aur Aale Muhammad ko bas itna hi risk dein ke rooh aur jism ka rishta barkarar rahe.” Yeh hadees Bukhari aur Muslim mein hai.
Hazrat Umar ko Nabi ﷺ ne daantte hue kaha jab woh chatai ke nishan dekhe. Nabi ﷺ roya aur farmaya ke “Caesar aur Kisra duniya ke mazaa loot rahe hain aur tum Allah ke Nabi ho to tumhe kya chahiye?” Unhon ne farmaya mujhe khatra nahin hai ke tum mere baad shirk kar jao, magar mujhe dar hai ke tum duniya ke maal mein phans jaoge aur phir ek doosre ko qatl karoge jis tarah aane wali qaumon ne kiya aur tum bhi tabaah ho jaoge. Yeh sab cheezein unke saamne maujood thin.
Bukhari Muslim mein aata hai ke Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya ke mujhe Allah ne do khazane ata kiye. Zameen ke khazane ki chaabiyan — jise baad mein logon ne daryaft kiya — jismein bataaya gaya ke Caesar aur Persian empires girne ke baad Musalmano ke paas daulat aaayegi. Aahista‑aahista woh bhi duniya ki mohabbat ka shikar ho jaayenge. Yeh sab baatein Hazrat Abu Zar ke saamne thi.
Sahih Bukhari mein Hazrat Abu Zar ka zikr hai ke unhon ne farmaya ke ek din Nabi ﷺ ne dekha aur farmaya ke “Abu Zar, kya tum us pahaad ko dekh rahe ho?” Abu Zar ne kaha maine pahaad ki taraf dekha aur socha ke ab mujhe kisi kaam ke silsile mein wahan bheja jaayega. Din ka waqt tha to maine apne zehan mein andaza lagaya ke agar koi kaam bataenge to main wahan jaake wapas kitni der mein aaunga. Lekin wahi baat nahin hui. Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya ke agar yeh saara pahaad jo kai kilometar mein phaila hua hai aaj bhi sona ho to main sab ke sab Allah ki raah mein fawran sham se pehle khairaat kar doonga aur apne paas do ya teen dinar hi rakhunga bas, taaki rozi guzar ho. Jo log un riwayat ko sunte the jab unhon ne dekha ke Roman aur Persian empires ke girne ke baad Musalmano ke paas khazane aaye aur Hazrat Usman ke daur mein logon ke paas lakhon rupaye aa gaye to woh usko hazm nahin kar paate the. Nabi ﷺ ne pehle hi kaha tha ke “al‑mustaqim” mein detail maujood hai — ke Abu Zar tera kya haal hoga jab tu bhusa logon mein reh jaega. Abu Zar Gaffari ka inteqal 32 Hijri mein hua Hazrat Usman ke daur mein.
Yeh baat Abdullah bin Umar bin As ke baare mein bhi kahi gayi thi ke “tu bhusa logon mein reh jaega” — same alfaaz Hazrat Abu Zar ke liye bhi Hakeem mein hain. Abu Zar Usman ke daur tak gaye the. Usman Ghani bura nahin the magar unke daur mein aish o aram ka level logon mein zyada ho gaya tha.
Phir hadees mein alfaaz hain ke Nabi ﷺ ne kaha “Ya Rasool, main kya karoon—talwar utha loon?” Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya sabr karo aur apni zubaan se haqq baat ki taskeen karte raho. Phir aapko Hakeem mein milega ke Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya ke tumhein Madina se nikaal diya jaega, shaam chale jaoge, wahan se bhi nikaal diya jaega. Aur ek dardnaak hadees Abu Zar ke baare mein Hakeem mein hi hai — Tabuk ka waqia yaad hai? Ek aisa waqia jahan jo shirkat nahin karega woh munaafiq ghoshit hoga. Qur’an mein fatwa aaya tha ke sab ko jaana hai, warna munaafiq shumar kiya jaega. Ye pehla aur aakhri mauqa tha kyunke Roman empire se takraana tha — ek super power thi.
Nabi ﷺ ne announcement ki ke ab sab ko jaana hai; jo nahin jaayega munaafiq ghoshit hoga, siwaye un logon ke jinke paas resource nahin ho, ya koi mareez ho, ya aurat ho, ya koi majur ho. Munaafiq aake bahaane kar rahe the; kuch saadah log bhi peeche rah gaye. Sahih Bukhari aur Muslim mein teen ki taubah ka waqia bhi maujood hai.
Phir mustaqim mein aata hai ke hum Nabi ﷺ ke saath safar par nikle — jab kisi ka bataaya jata ke “woh banda bhi nahin aaya” to Nabi ﷺ farmaate “theek hai, Allah chaahega to aa jaega, nahin toh nahin.” Kisi ne kaha Abu Zar bhi peeche reh gaye. Abu Zar ko uska oont rok raha tha, oont nahin chal raha tha — gaadi wali baat nahin thi ke start kar doge, oont chalne se inkaar kar de to koi kar sakta hai? Safar kitna tha? 700 kilometar. Aaj ke daur mein bhi 700 kilometar ka registani safar karna mushkil hai — cycle par nahin, paidal to bilkul nahin. Oont ke baghair kaise ho sakta hai? Jinhe oont zaroori the ke unke upar samaan laana hai. Pani raaste mein peena mumkin nahin. Registan mein kai‑kai kilometar tak kuch bhi nahin hota. Bhookhe pyaase mar jaate.

Hakeem ki riwayat hai ke humne dekha door se ek akela shakhs aa raha hai jiske peeth ke upar bora laga hua hai. Nabi ﷺ ki mohabbat dekho — unhon ne farmaya “tu Abu Zar ho ja.” Ya’ni jo aane wala shakhs hai, tu Abu Zar ho. Nabi ﷺ ne khwahish ka izhaar kiya. Aapko nazar to nahin aa raha tha ke kaun aa raha hai, magar aapki mohabbat ne pehchaan liya.
Thodi der baad jab woh kareeb aaye to pehchaan liya ke Abu Zar Gaffari hain. Nabi ﷺ ne unke aane se pehle farmaya “Abu Zar, Abu Zar ko dekho, akela aa raha hai.” Akelay hi duniya se jaayega aur Qayamat ke din bhi akela uthaya jaayega.
Duniya se kya keh ke jaayenge? Sahih Bukhari mein aata hai ke Hazrat Usman Ghani r.a. ke daur mein bhi is hadees ka kuch hissa baqiya hai. Main baad mein bayan karoonga, pehle isko conclude kar loon ke Sahih Bukhari mein aata hai ke Hazrat Abu Zar Sham chale gaye the. Wahan pe governor Hazrat Muawiya r.a. the. Shari hukm yeh hai ke maal tum jod sakte ho agar tum zakat de rahe ho. Lekin yeh pasandeeda nahin hai. Tariqa nabuwat yeh nahin hai. Nabi ﷺ khud zindagi bhar zakat dene ka mauqa nahin paaye. Haan khairaat karte the. Abu Zar ka jhagra yeh tha ke tum to Nabi ke saath ho, tum logon ko yeh zehniyat nahin deti ke tum log is tarah maal jama karo aur aise samaan rakhho. Kyunke woh senior sahabi the, unko rokna aasaan nahin tha. Phir Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya iska jawab ke is se zyada saccha insaan koi nahin. Muawiya ne khat likha Hazrat Usman ko ke “is bande se meri jaan chhuda do na, isko wapas bula lo.” Usman ne kaha tum Madina shareef wapas aa jao.
Jab woh wapas aaye to Sahih Bukhari mein aata hai logon ka jhamta lag gaya Abu Zar ke gird. Logon ko pata tha yeh to bada — johad wala banda hai. Abu Zar wahi hadees sunaya karte the ke Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya ye pahaad agar sona ho to main khairaat kar dunga. Jabke baaqi sahaba ka raay thi ke maal jodna jaayiz hai agar zakat ada karta rahe. Unka kehna tha “tum log Nabi ke saath ho, tum logon ki zindagi mein jo honi chahiye woh honi chahiye.” Ab logon ka jhund unke gird lag gaya.
Phir Hazrat Usman ne unko khalifa waqt bulaaya aur kaha “yar, tu khud Madina shareef chhod ke yahan se chal ja, teri wajah se fitna khada ho raha.” Abu Zar ne jawab diya “maine to Nabi se suna tha ke gumraahon ki itaat karna sabr karna hai.” To woh ek gaon ke paas hijrat kar gaye. Log dar gaye the ke Abu Zar apni buzdil shaksiyat ke saath — 80–90 saal ka buzurg, apni budhiya biwi ke saath — is umar mein shehar chhod raha hai aur akela safar kar raha hai. Aaj bhi agar aap Madina se bahar akela jaake kuch din guzarna chahein to mushkil hota hai.
Koi shakhs Hazrat Abu Zar ko send‑off dene nahin aaya siwaye Hazrat Ali ke, jo bas Medina boundary tak aaye — unko maloom tha unke stance ke baare mein. Hazrat Ali ne jab send‑off kiya to kaha “main hukmarane waqt ki itaat ka paband hoon, main Madina boundary se bahar nahin jaaunga. Agar mujhe hukm milta to main tumhare saath jaata.” Iran walon ne Hazrat Ali ke zindagi ke aakhri 10 saal pe film banayi — Imam Ali — jisme Abu Zar ke saare waqiat dikhaye gaye hain. Log jab Maula Ali ko chhor ke aate hain aur jo unki debates hoti hain Medina ke logon ke saath, woh sab video mein dikhayi gayi hain.
Ab aaein us hadees ki taraf jis mein farmaya ke “tu akela hi marega.” Abu Zar Gaffari ke maut ka waqt qareeb aa gaya. Sirf biwi paas thi. Biwi roya kar ke boli “Hazrat, aap faut ho gaye. Aapko kafan kaun dega? Aapko ghusl kaun karega? Aapko dafnayega kaun? Main aurat kya kar sakti hoon?” Hazrat Abu Zar ne kaha “Maine Nabi ﷺ se suna tha ke tu akela marega, phir Musalmanon ka ek kafilaa wahan se guzrega jo tujhe kafan deke dafnayega aur janaaza bhi padhega. Tum fikr mat karo. Jab main mar jaaun to meri laash ko chowrhae par rakh dena, guzar gaah par — jo Madina ki taraf raasta aata tha gaon area se guzarte hue, Allah mera bandobast kar dega.”
Wohi hua ke unke marne ke baad Musalmanon ka ek kafilaa door se aa raha tha. Us mustaqi hadees mein aata hai ke kaafilaa bhi roka aur pucha “kaun hai?” Abdullah ibn Masood (jo jihad ke imam the) bhi wahan thay; unko nahin pata tha yeh kaun hai. Jab unko bataya gaya “yeh Abu Zar Gaffari hai,” Abdullah ibn Masood chillaye aur phat‑phat unki cheekh nikal gayi. Unhone kaha “Wah! Allah ke Nabi ne farmaya tha ke Abu Zar akela aa raha hai, tab bhook ke mauke pe duniya se bhi akela jaayega aur Qayamat ke din bhi akela uthaya jaayega.”
Yani usi zameen se woh uthna hai — har bande ne apni qabr se uthna hai. Musalmano ke kabristan mein bhi dafn nahin hua tha unko — ek aisa mizar nahin jahan log jaya kar ibadat ya ziyarat karen. Main un logon se poochta hoon jo mizar‑mizaraz ki rat lagaye phirte hain: tumhare baap‑dada ki kya aukaat hai? Abu Zar Gaffari ka mizar dikhado kahan hai? Is rooh pe neeli chhatri ke neeche sab se saccha insaan jis ko Allah ke Nabi keh rahe hain, uska koi mazar nahin hai. Gharib Madani mein mar gaye, unki qabr bhi aisi jagah hai jahan Musalmano ke paas kabrein bhi koi nahin. Ek registan mein akeli qabr hai — uska bhi kisi ko pata nahin. Uspe koi mazar nahin, aur Qayamat ke din bhi akela uthaya jaayega. Yani Qayamat tak wahan pe koi kabristan bhi nahin banega.
Agar mizarat hi dalil hai kamyabi ki, to Nabi ki khabar bhi kya naamumkin hogayi? Agar mizarat se kaam chalne wala hota to Abdullah Masood r.a. ne unko ghusl diya, kafan diya aur dafnaya — puri details al‑mustaqim mein mil jaayegi.
To Abu Zar Gaffari un chand shakhsiyat mein se hain jin par poori ummat ka ittifaq hai unki nekokari ke upar. Shia bhi unko bohot respect dete hain, Sunni bhi, Sufi logon ke nazdeek bhi unko imam mana jaata hai. Jihad ki wajah se, agar aap tasawwuf ki kitaben padhen — chaahe Imam Ghazali ki ho ya risalayiyat — Abu Zar aapko johed ke imam ke taur par milenge. Unki zindagi se maloom hota hai ke unhon ne kaisi zindagi guzaari.
Log mazmoon mein marte hain, unko yaad koi nahin karta. Aur Abu Zar Gaffari ko aaj bhi duniya yaad kar rahi hai. Hum bhi yaad kar rahe hain. Razi Allahu ta’ala anhu. Allah‑ta’ala Qayamat ke din humein aise neki waale logon ka saath naseeb farmaaye. Aameen.
